Underground

If you haven’t been before, I can not tell you how great Underground Art and Sound is. I have fallen in love with this hole in the ground place in downtown Florence. They have amazing deals on some of the best music pressed over the ages.

I stopped by the shop yesterday to grab a quick shot for my class. I had to do a diptych that described someone and the place they find themselves in. I ended up with this picture as my final product and I was really glad the lighting turned out the way it did!

Apperantly someone had come into the shop earlier and sold a bundle of records, and as the staff was doing an appraisal of the purchase later on, it turned out an album bought for $1 is actually worth $150. That definitely made them happy.

Tonight I’ll be packing up so I can head out tomorrow morning to go on my trip to New York. It’s going to be a really early start, and I’m going to be extremely sleepy. That being said, I’m extremely excited. Wish me luck, and I’ll keep you all posted.
